I applied for canadian immigration in skilled worker category at their consulate in Buffalo, NY in Sep 2002 and got a confirmation in Dec 2002 that my application was received.

I'd like to know the processing time the above office is taking these days.

I have been refered to your site by a friend who said that my query could be answered here.

Thank you,

I went to apply for a Temp Resident Visa, to my surprise the officer verbally assaulted during the interview, threatened to call security on me, suggested that I abandon my asylum status in the US to apply for one in Canada, she refused my sister who is a Canadian the right to be visited by by her relative, she was so mean that I disregard all that Canada is known for because it is not the first time I received a treatment of that kind by a Canadian immigration officer.
