Yes, but you should only give 1/4 - 1/2 of the dosage depending on the size of your dog.

It depends why you want to give your dog sleeping tablets and which ones you plan to use.

Yes you can. I know this is an old post but maybe someone else is out there looking for the same answer. So here is what I do (I am a breeder) if one of mine needs one; I give the dogs under 20 pounds only 1/4-1/2 pill depending on their size; then for 40pounds and up I give a whole pill.

be careful, Ibuprofen can kill a dog as can Tylenol, so make sure the sleep medication you give them does not contain either of those.
