I bought Stant 11506 for my 2004 Toyota Tundra and it works. It's non treaded and the same U shaped locking thread as the one that came with the truck. Kragen said it was for Chevy Corvette.

NO ONE seemed to know where to get a locking gas cap for the '03 Tundra.  The Stant 11506 crosses with the Stant 10506, which is what I was able to get here.  It seems to be a perfect fit.  I would have never found one without the help of this posting...thanks!!

You guys rock!  I've been pulling my hair out looking for a locking gas cap for my 2003 Tundra.  None of the auto stores or Toyota Parts Depts. had a clue.  I got the Stant 11506 and it seems to fit fine.  Has anyone had problems with the check engine light?  The Toyota people warned me this might happen with the after market caps.

I posted the info about the 10506 Stant several weeks ago...and I've had it installed all this time, with several fill-ups of gas.  I have had no problem of any kind.  I also noted that my wife's 2002 Camry gas cap APPEARS to be identical to my 2003 Tundra cap.  I wonder if a locking cap for her car would work...?

John Blommel from Stant e-mailed me today that their new Locking Gas Cap (#10509) for the 2004 Tundra is now available at Stant ($21.90 + $5.00 S&H).  He did say when it would be available in stores. Call 765-825-3121 ext 330 with a Mastercard or Visa.

As of the middle of Sepember 2004,  Stant has come out with a locking gas cap for Toyota Tundra's year model 2003 thur 2005. The part number is 10509.  The locking gas caps are not in auto part stores yet. But should be in the near future. Carquest part number for this locking gas cap will be 35072. The cost will be $21.91. I don't know if this locking gas cap will make the engine light come on.  If you can find this locking gas cap and it works please leave a note here.  For more Information contact Stant at 1(800)822-3121 ext.330 Good Luck!!

I have a 2005 Tundra with a V8 engine. They
are only making locking gas caps up to the year 2004 for this model. Stants on line catalog list the locking fuel cap for a 2004 Tundra (with V8) as part number 10509. I found one at autopartsgiant.com   You will need to order it online and they will ship it. I hope this helped.

I just ordered a locking gas cap for my 2005 Toyota Tacoma single cab truck from the Stant company. Check them out on the internet. Give them a call and place your order. Its that easy! With gas at $3.06 a gallon here in Western North Carolina its best to lock that tank up! California credit cards(syphon hose)are still around, especially when the sun goes down!!

Someone messed with my dad's gas cap on his 2002 Tacoma, he bought a locking cap the next day but he drove home without a cap. The check engine light came and and he has since bought the locking cap. The light still has not reset. does anyone have an idea what is going on?

Check NAPA on the 2003 Camry, found one there but it didn't fit my 2004, no treads on the 04.  Heard from Toyota that the Tundra light will come on due to casket not sealing on the caps.  So far they say STANT doesn't make any locking caps for the toyotas, except I had one for my 1996 camry.
good luck

I'm looking for a locking cap for a 2003 Sonoma and can't find one either - checked Stant and it sounds like the 10506 or 11506 will work as well.  Is this a model year problem I wonder??
