Can i own a golden retriever and still own a yorkshire terrier?

Yes you can if your bigger dog is not to wild, but you must be careful not to let the bigger dog sit or step on your yorkie. We have two yorkies and a rottie and they all get along great. Hope all works out for you.

SURE but you MUST always watch them together. My Golden retriever will have nothing to do with my Yorkie but he would never hurt her.

Yes!  I have a 1 and 1/2 year old yellow Lab and just got a Yorkie.  They are best buds!  Actually, the Yorkie climbs all over the lab and he just lets her!  The lab is very patient with her even when she's terrorizing him (which is most of the time).  If your retriever is patient like a lab, they will love each other!  Good luck!

I have a yorkie and two biger dogs and they all get along great. The big dogs treat the yorkie like their little baby.
