I have a 7 year old Oorang Airedale Terrier.  He has been struggling with very high white cell count (as high as 53,000) for the last two months.  This morning he suddenly woke up blind. He has been on high doses of antibiotics and this has brought cell count down to 20,000.  He was back to his old self until this a.m. and we are heartbroken.  He is in hospital and we can't seem to get any firm answers or prognosis.  Any ideas?
