husband has been told he has type 2 diabetes what afect does his beer drinking have on the diabetes  i am told it is bad for him  he will not take it as bad

Your husband needs education. Beer has lots of carbs, carbs ARE Sugar.. Glucose is sugar. If your husband does not change his lifestyle he'd surely live to regret it. Diabetes complications lead to death!. Worse, blindness, amputation, heart attack.. As his spouse you'd have to deal with it. The only answer, is education and lifestyle change.. He needs to forget about beer!.
