I have recently adopted a rescue, year-old, neutered male Cardigan.  He shows extreme excitement (aggression) towards our 15 year-old cat.  How should I deal with this effectively?  Is it possible?

I don't think this can be broken once the hate is established. I had two Huskys and both grew up with cats so they're friends with them but we brought over another dog (of the same breed)and he just about killed the cats. I don't know what to do about this problem but you could read a book about animal behavior. Good luck! Tanisha
