We have adopted a rescued husky . she is 4-5 years old. She is terrified of my husband, despite doing all the suggestions by the vet. We have had her for about 4 months now. What can we do?

We have a chow that we took in that was very afraid of us but especially my husband. We learned to walk up on him slowly no sudden moves because this terrified him. Have your husband feed him, talk to him or just sit close by him. We have had ours for 4 years now and he has come a long way but he is still scared very easy. He now begs to be petted and loves attention. But he still is very skittish about any sudden movement. Unfortunately with all the abuse he was put through before he is unable to totally trust now. Good luck
