mine had the same problem, just not quite as often. i have a deer chi. i got him from the pound, they told me he was a stray. the vet did a battery of blood work, all was well there. no abnormalities. he also put him on dry Science diet for sensitive stomachs, he is somewhat better, but some days he has a very bad breath, i know then it is his "reflux" acting up. i leave food in his bowl so he can eat when he feels like it. he also sheds a lot, which leads me to believe his stomach problem has something to do with it. i kind of have the feeling sometimes that he may have had to eat "road kill" or bad spoiled food as a "stray", as he was very skinny and even had hair loss when i adopted him. he has his hair back now and weighs 9 lbs. i feel sorry for him when he has a day of reflux as i have that problem myself from time to time.

I have a 12wk old chihuahua that tends to throw up 2-5 times a day. I have taken her to the vet and he gave me medicine for her and I know its not her food, cause I have tried different foods. So can someone please tell me if this is normal for her to spit up occasionally. I mean she is like a baby.

Do you give her tiny meals often? I didn't have this with either of mine, but they were free-fed, which means that kibble was always available to them so they ate what they wanted when they wanted. If she has to bolt her food that could be upsetting her tummy. I'm afraid I'm not much help, I really think you need to work with your vet, or maybe get a second opinion.

i think it's not normal for a chihuahua baby to do that. Probably she does not have good health or is sick! When did she start? Did she just start or already have it?

Hi,I think I may have some answers for you.1st does your pup have her parvo her 1st pup shots.,does she drink water or eat anything.I have 3 chihuahua pups 3months old and they do throw up once in a while .First check the color of the vomit see if there is anything in it that should not be there,let me know what color the vomit is and decribe it as best as you can is it green,white ,yellow.I can answer more ?'s for you.Let me know if she has her shots and we will go from there.I have 6 grow chihuahua'sand 3 pups so I think I know a little something.Thanks for your time and please feel free to e-mail me Always Dorita.

maby allergy's. my chi is alergic to food w/ wheat & corn . I feed him limited ingredient food. it cost more but he only eats 1 cup a day and it lasts a long time. Bad breath could bre periodontal desiese. Mine has had to have teeth pulled.
