I'm on full government scholarship pursuing undergrad studies.I have been in the j1 program for 1 and half yrs now. however my sponsor paid for 1 year only and i have had to struggle with paying on myself. I have communicated to the relevant authorities but they have taken up a be patient approach. There has been change of government in my country and some of us who had some leaning towards the previous govt are being victimised as such. I'm infact a government employed teacher, working in the former president's school. strong Chances are my schorlaship will be withdrawn. If i had to apply for a waiver, how to go about it? pls advice. My visa a expires august 2004, my IAP-66 is upto 2005. thank you.
