I was told that Tom Burlinson was sued for the horse...

I was told that Tom Burlinson was sued for the horse actually being shot and killed in The Return to Snowy River...is this true? It sounded a little fishy to me.

That is not true. Denny was owned by the Lovick family in Mansfield, Victoria, and he died aged 29 in 1999 after a long happy life.
