I want to purchase glasses with "zoom" lenses similar to what surgeons wear to operate.  My brother-in-law is a locksmith with failing eyesight and these would help him a lot.  Is there such a product available on the market in Toronto

Headband-mounted magnifiers are available from most locksmithing suppliers. I haven't seen the extremely-high-magnification version used for microsurgery -- but by definition someone must be selling those to the doctors, so if that's really what you're looking for, try contacting medical supply houses.
