I am trying to create a database for track and field results.  The data I am using includes running race results that include times recorded to the hundredth of a second (e.r. 3:55.46).  How can i get the field format to include these fractions of a second?  The options that Filemaker gives me do not allow for fractions of a second.  I am typically going to be importing the data from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that does allow me to customize the time format to include fractional seconds, but this formatting is lost as soon as i import it into Filemaker Pro 5.5.
Thank you for your help!

Why not use access and import the data into an access database?  I created a mini database to log my son's running, you could build from that. Unfortunately, it's in Office 97, but the good news is you could use a later version and the file would be upgraded automatically to your version. If you would like a copy of it, email me at kfreeland@nada.org.  Also, you could build an import module and use the specs to automatically import your excel sheets.
