IS IT PAINFUL? IF SO MAYBE YOU SHOULD REMOVE IT. I ALSO SUGGEST THAT YOU LIMIT HOW MUCH YOU PLAY WITH IT THAT CAN CAUSE TEARING. IF YOU CONTINE TO DO SO, YOU CAN CAUSE A KELOID TO FORM WHICH WILL LOOK VERY NASTY AND ALSO MAY CAUSE PAIN.

your tongue will heal in time. just swill your mouth out with warm salt water to help it heal and this should also stop it from tearing any further
