Your dog should be under regular veterinary care. Most female chihuahuas are too fragile to be successfully bred, even experienced breeders will sometimes lose the dam and/or the entire litter.

is it normal for my 17week old chi to weigh 10 pounds. Im really worried i thought they dont even get up to that weight when they are full grown.

Chihuahuas should only be up to 7 pounds if they are bred by a reputable breeder. Some chihuahuas have some other dog in their background, maybe even 3 generations back that will cause a larger than normal dog to be produced. This pup is not done growing as growth usually stops around a year old. I think this is not a Chihuahua but a mixed puppy.

THats pretty big. I think you take the weight at 16wks. and double it, to figure how much they will weigh at maturity. Sounds like a mix maybe to me.

oh no my dog ishaving milkcome out of one nipple are you possitve. I got scared today and took her to the vet so she could have them soon what are otherb signs?
