1. Hacking is the pursuit of knowledge.. Cracking, however, is the malevolent use of programs to break into systems.
2. Some hacking (for security purposes) can be good.  Some hacking (illegally breaking into systems) can be bad.
3. What?

i am a hacker and it is only bad when someone does it too hurt someone else but even then it doesnt have to be malicious

ya birkoff is right you shouldn't use a computer to hack others unless it is for security perpusose only

guys for heaven's sake are you telling me that you don't know whether hacking is good or bad?
For damn sure it bad because the hackers enter your computer and change stuff and they ruin the computer program and of course you don't want that to happen to your computer!!!!!
so its by common sense.!.

Hey, what they are trying to say for number 3 and 4 is...

3: does it have any good guys...e.g is their a good sort of hacker... ? my answere: i do not know if their is such a thing, but if you were trying to hack something that had been stolen from you, i guess its ok... e.g if someones stolen your email, you can try and hack and get it back?!

4: what is a solution to hacking... e.g. what can you do to PREVENT Hacking... my answere to this is: setup a really good firewall and get a good internet security system software.
