I have been taking Lotensin for a short time and have developed a ringing in my ears.  A friend's Lotensin prescription has increased from 20mg to 40mg and his ear ringing has increased.  Is this a known side effect of Lotensin?  This is extremely frustrating and the Dr. knows nothing about that possibility.  Thanks, Tom
