Is carpool violation a moving violation or a parking violation? If it is a parking violation then is it necessary to go to traffic school?

HEy there, all I know for a fact is that 21655.5b (if that's what it says on your ticket) is not a point violation...therefore no traffic school is necessary...but anything else i.e. 21655 or 21655b is a point and traffic school can be taken if it hasnt within the last 18 months

So is this a moving violation or not?

Should I include this when I buy my insurance?

Violation date Jan-04, renew my policy on May-04 and no record show up on the policy, no rate increase!

Carpool violation (21655.5b) is not considered as moving violation. That means it is not going to affect your DMV record. Depending on your insurance company, it might affect your insurance rate, though.
