when a strain of Psilocybe cubensis first develops, a bright white mycelium network forms, from which the mushrooms grow.  However after a few mushrooms were picked, there were spots where the mycelium had been torn away with the mushrooms.  instead of being replaced by more white mycelium, a brown mycelium now grows in its place. does this mean that it is infected? if not what does it mean?
