I was wondering if it is ok to leave a husky outside during the winter?

In reading much information on the web. They can tolerate cold weather very well, to be factual, as low as 75 degrees Fahrenheit below zero. If placed outside the dog house should have a flat roof, as Siberians love to lay on top of their houses. A good insulated house with nice straw bedding is perfect for Siberians that spend most of their time outside.

Of course they can!!! They were bred for cold weather. Weather we don't even want to be out in is just fine for them. My huskies are outside 24/7 in below freezing weather sometimes and they're fine. In fact my husky had her pups outside in the middle of a snowstorm at night.

I think if you have another dog to keep it company it would do ok, but remember that huskies are pack animal and don't like to be alone. So if he is the only dog, he'd be much happier to be with you.

YES, THEY ARE MADE FOR THE COLD. JUST REMEMBER THAT THEY STILL NEED THEIR DAILY EXERCISE AND COMPANIONSHIP.
