I would like to get as much information as I can about epilepsy in dogs.  My dog is 2 years old and has just started having fits.
We are waiting for the results from blood tests.  Is there anything you can tell me about preventative measures or medication  that I can start on.

There is a great website with a wealth of information on canine epilepsy
www.guardianangel.com
I'm not sure if this is correct, but if you search for "canine epilepsy" it will show up.
It's been a wonderful source of info for me and my 4 year old German Shepard who has been having seizures for just over a year now.
