It started out with ice slides in Russia in the 17th century. I guess that's concidered a roller coaster.

the roller coasters were discovered in 1784 although if you consider the russian ice slides as a roller coaster than they were first and they were in the 17th century.

The roller coaster was inspired by the switchback gravity railroad used in Summit Hill, PA to transport coal.

i say that the inventor of the roller coaster was Adrew Maloney. it was invented in the year 2006. Steve Maniscalco helped by test riding it for over 60 hours per day. You all answered wrong i'm the only 1 who got it right.
