Sometimes we fight so hard to just get by and feel secure that we forget life is full of interesting and beautiful people and moments. These moments pass us by when we are detached emotionally and feel alienated by life. The problem, and irony, is that we work so hard to be able to deal with the turmoil of life that we talk ourselves out of living and fully experiencing our lives and the people around us. There are usually specific pieces in your life that have helped to push you into a "comfortably numb" state. It could be anything from you starting to realize how superficial much of our daily actions are to some stress or problem in your life that has left you particularly prone to guarding yourself, thus not making the connections that bring fulfillment in the moment. This state can be comfortable, and indeed is strange, but just remember that when you want to leave the detached state to reach out to someone; family, friends, teachers, co-workers, even a stranger (whoever in your life seems to be a real person, hey maybe even someone on the web) :)!!!!!!

Well i cant say i have felt robotic or empty but i have had similiar emotion to that 1st and formost our creator siad there is a time to mourn and a time for joy life in death lies in the tongue if u speak positive that's what u will become it seem funny because there only words but u start to live what u speak and become what u think why not live life to its fullest potential we r God's most precious creation meaning there nothing we cant do meaning anything is possible he created the earth and the heavens nothing is impossible for him because he wants you to live life to the fullest everyday that God blesses u to see another day is another opportunity because one day u wont awake and u will be gone back home to heaven if u follow GODS command so why not live to ur fullest GOD has already okay it ..........

DOES ANYBODY ELSE FEEL LIKE ME? IVE BEEN FEELING REALLY STRANGE FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS, ITS AS IF IVE BECOME ROBOTIC AND EMPTY,JUST GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS.AND I SEE OTHER PEOPLE THE WAY I SEE MYSELF.IT FEELS LIKE A LIVING HELL

I get that feeling whenever I know that I am not living up to my fullest potential. Unconsciously you are fed up with accepting your life as being all that there is to life. But on a conscious level you just are begining to feel that which you have been feeling unconsciously. When we ignore our need to apply ourselves to the fullest it begins manifesting it self outwardly. We began seeing others in the same way, it's just awake up call from our unconscious mind to pay attention to our inner needs.

I had felt that way for years, but lately I started realizing that it's o.k. to be human, to have feelings. It occurred to me that I relied too heavily on intellect consciously and too much on emotion sub- and unconsciously. It's very hard to experience co-consciousness for me, but I can make a conscious decision to incorporate my emotions more into every day life. I have found that I need to stop investing in my unconscious emotional life so heavily. I have found it helpful to try to figure-out what others are feeling from their expressions, etc., rather than trying to judge them by what I would feel in a given situation.

Why i feel that my life i am living,is a waste of time and a feel that i am stranger from other and my socicity and i am having stranger ideas as a sleep. HAVE YOU EVER FEEL LIKE THIS

sometimes i feel like i just can't go on. i feel like I'm not true to myself, that I'm not being a true friend and that i have to put on a mask. i don't like feeling this way is it me or is it the people around me who are so fake and superficial?
