pretty much everywhere in the world you have to be 18 to be a piercer even to get into a school. go on the net and check it out I'm sure you will find something.

I'm not sure about where you are, but over here (USA and Canada) you have to be 19 to train, and you can't even GET a piercing without your parent being there (at least not legally; the piercer and the piercee could get into A LOT of trouble.) Also you canNOT even get a nipple (if you're a girl) or a genital piercing even with a parent with you. Plus over here there's laws about minors (those under 18) even being exposed to adult genitals and (female)breasts- if you can't see them (w/o the adults going to jail and getting a very expensive fine and you going to court) how do you expect to pierce them.
But anyways, maybe the laws are different there.
You'll need to be an apprentice for about 6 months. You may also be able to find an online class ($60-1300 USD). I also recommend getting some DVDs and/or videos on piercing and studying everything about the subject (online, talking to professional piercers, etc.) You'llneed CPR/First Aid training, take courses in blood borne pathogens, learn how to sterilize EVERYthing, and of course learn basic anatomy. If you want your own business be prepared to shell out $1500 USD or more plus the cost of renting a place, and expect to spend $900 USD a month PLUS the cost of rent. You'll earn about $50 USD per piercing.
Be a piercer because you love to do it, you appreciate the art, and you want to provide a safe, sterile, professional, inviting place to get it done in. Good luck.
