Hello there:
Am a doctor ,  i finished my residency ( pediatrics ) in the US . i went back home to Jordan and get married from US citizen girl there. She was born in the states but left with her family long time ago and now living in Jordan. What is the best way to apply for my immigration paper work? is it through the American embassy in Jordan?and how long it will take me to be able to come back to work in pediatrics in the US?while i was in the states doing residency , i was on J1 visa.i know that i have to spend the 2 years in Jordan before i will be able to come back, but what the fastest and easiest way to apply for immigration...some friends are telling me that my wife should be living in the states to file for my papers!!!! and can't file them from Jordan.
thanks...
Basil
