my rescued greyhound is hypothyroid. the vet we took him to wants to put him on twice a day medicine. what type of meds do you give. do you give e heart-worn meds to the dog?

He will be put on Oroxine, or similar tabs containing Thyoxine.

If you are in a Heartworm area, your dog should be on monthly Heartworm treatment.
