Dear James,
The Computer Virus is different from the Human Virus . A Computer virus is actually a program aimed at doing malicious things like file , deletion, shut down e.t.c .Just like you have Ms Word for typing , this program(Computer Virus) is written to delete your files . So the name virus !. just like a HIV virus 'deletes' the human blood cells.
I am sure you have got the answer Thank you
Yours,
Bainomugisha Engineer
