Is once a week per body part enough for growth?  I am looking at doing the following split: Monday-chest, shoulders and triceps, Wed-legs and abs, Friday-back and biceps I would only use one main exercise and do a superset of a different excercise for the same body part to finsih.

I do that programme exactly, and its working for me. Just stick to it for months and months, and train really hard and you`ll get the rewards!
