A black dwarf is a medium sized star that has ran out of fuel. Instead of saying it is the end of that star it is really the beggining of a new star.

A black dwarf is the remains of a Sun-sized star which has evolved to a white dwarf and subsequently cooled down such that it no longer gives out radiation. None exist in our universe, as the time taken for a white dwarf to cool to such a degree is longer than the lifespan of the universe to date.

A White Dwarf turns into a Black Dwarf when it cools down so much after losing all of its fuel that it no longer gives of radiation. Black Dwarfs are small and dense, like White Dwarfs. They give off no light at all. This reminds me of a burned out piece of charcoal.

A black Dwarf is currently a theoretical object in our universe.  Our universe has not existed long enough to sustain the time for a black Dwarf to form.  It is when a White Dwarf cools.  Think of a black Dwarf as a Radioactive core, it will take extreme amounts of time to cool.  A black Dwarf may be the size of the US, but it is very dense considering it used to be the size of the sun.  Now they are theoretical, but Billions of years from now they WILL exist.

A black dwarf is a lot like a white dwarf.  See when the slave trade was going on they took all the black dwarfs and put them on an island off of nigeria.  That's where they got the name nigers.

When a star dies out, it can either become a black hole, neutron star or white dwarf. After many years of cooling, I believe that the latter two can become a black dwarf. A black dwarf, like the other three forms of a dead star, is extremely dense.

The hypothetical end point of evolution for a degenerate star, either a white dwarf or a neutron star, after it has cooled down to the extent that it can no longer shine, even dimly. A black dwarf is composed of cold, degenerate matter - degenerate electron matter (in the case of a white dwarf) or degenerate baryon matter (in the case of a neutron star). It is thought that the universe is not yet old enough to harbor any such objects. A 'black dwarf' is a white dwarf that has cooled down enough that it no longer emits light. For the differences between white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes.

A "Black Dwarf Star" is a theoretical object that is described as one of the last evolutions of a star. The "Black Dwarf Star" is a dark star that was once a "White Dwarf Star". According to theory the "White Dwarf Star" has to eventually cool to the point where it no longer emits enough energy to shine. However according to theory this does not mean the star is either dead or cool enough to simply walk on. To the contrary, the star still remains at extreme temperatures even at this state of being. Speculated theories on what happens to the "Black Dwarf Star" after it eventually cools down say that the most practical explanation would be that the star eventually cools down completely to the point where it would resemble an extremely dense planetoid. The oldest stars ever discovered in the Universe are considered to be "White Dwarf Stars" therefore scientists have concluded that, with supporting evidence of the Universe's age, the Universe must wait until it is at least 200 billion or more years old until one of these objects can be found.

A black dwarf does not physically exist.  It is hypothesized that after a star becomes a white dwarf, it cools down.  After billions upon billions of years of cooling, the white dwarf no longer is able to produce any sort of light, and goes dark.  Since it also absorbs any energy, it remains black.  Do you think that it is possible that a black dwarf eventually, after another few billion years, collapses and forms a black hole?

When helium is all burned, the red giant (the sun expland to become the type of star) will collapse and die out. It will no longer give out heat and light. It will then be the type of star called a "Black dwarf", which is also a cool cinder among billions of others. It is absolutely different from either brown dwarfs or black holes.

a black dwarf is fromed when a white dwarf runs out of hydrogen and helium. Heavier elements such as oxygen nitrogen and carbon monoxide, emit in place of the lighter previous elements. I would say that the star isnt really dying, but  giving off the raw materials for more life. But who knows, a black dwarf could contain magical crystals inside, fused from all the nuclear radition from its previous state. Crystals that hold infinite powers. But where not ready for such power, and must wait for the black dwarf to cultivate

A black dwarf is a white dwarf which is cooled down because e all his fuel is used up. But there are no black dwarfs in the universe because it takes too long to cool down. And if there were black dwarfs, they would be very difficult to spot.

A black dwarf is simply a white dwarf that has cooled down enough so that there is no light emitted and there is no radiation. It is very difficult to find a black dwarf. Also a black dwarf takes a long time to cool,it takes so long that humans will be in other galaxy and then finally find one black dwarf. It takes over 100000 billion trillion years for a white dwarf to cool and become a black dwarf
