Start up the computer and start pressing the F8 key. This will bring up a menu which will allow you to stat up in safe mode and various other options. One of those options should be to log in as an administrator. This option should allow you to by-pass any passwords and log directly in. From there change the user account password to one you can remember. This is an abridged simplified version hopefully it is enough to help.

this needs to be done from inside the computer. opening the case. a small set of jumpers most likly. look for the word "password" on the motherbord. it should say somthing about clearing password... connect {2 numbers] and the jumper has to connet 2 set of pin like things. idk if that helps. google it. "clearing CMOS password"

You are pretty thoughtless to even set the username and password on your computer to something that you'd forget.. that is.. if you are trying to get into your OWN computer and not somebody elses. It's understandable to forget passwords to email's etc.. some people have so many different passwords for so many things. But to your own computer? That's like saying you forgot your own birthday.
