the answer is a Dogue De Bordeaux Mastiff or otherwise known as the French Mastiff. I own one of Hooch's actual grandsons.

Heather is right. I have just found a breeder in New Zealand that is breeding from the great grandson of Hooch. Damn, they are an impressive dog!!!

Shut the F**** up, he isn't a poodle and poodles are the gayest dogs i have ever seen. Hes either a Dogue de Bordeaux or some type of Mastiff.

Hooch is a Dogue De Bordeaux.  I have a Hooch, and she is the sweetest dog in the whole world.

hooch is a dogue de bordeaux also called french mastiff ,bordeaux mastiff ,bordeaux bulldogue or dogue de aquitane males grow to 27inchies females a little less they make loyal steadfast family pets and you wont believe the attention you get from other people asking what kind of dog your walking

Dogue De Bordeaux, or French Mastiff as commonly referred to.  They are not a AKC recognized breed but are a purebreed.  Not many in the US, less then 10,000 from what I understand.

yes it is actually a dogue de bordeaux a very rare an unknown breed i myself own 3. not a bullmastiff by the way it is a bordeaux bulldog, french mastiff or DDB

Breed Classification  The Dogue de Bordeaux is a member of the working group. They were originally used as guard dogs and for hunting game, today it is used as a watchdog and family pet.

trust me on this i have 3 of them.and if anyone knows anyone who has 1 and its Evil i blame them.
