I HAVE A $500 CONFEDERATE MONEY NOTE DATED FEB. 17, 1861.  VIRGINIA, NUMBER 16760 PRINTED ON BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT SIDES ON THE FRONT. WHAT IS THIS WORTH? AND TO WHOM WOULD IT BE WORTH SOMETHING?

Hi..if you look you will see this note dated 1864 not 1861 and the bad news is it is a common replica not a real note.It has no value.

I found 3 confederate notes in my parents estate, as follows:

1) $5 note dated September 2, 1861 with No. 4763

2) $10 note dated February17th, 1864 No. 45956

3) $20 note dated September 2, 1861 with the number blank (I do see a "7" on the left side.

Any value?

Question....I have a Confederate $20 bill, dated Feb. 17th 1864. Is this worth anything? It does not have reprinted marks like the other two. The number is 46410. Thanks

Heather, 46410 is a replica.

MJ, The serial is not a known replica.  So, I guess worth would depend on the condition.

I have a $500 Confederate Bill dated at Richmond, Feb. 17, 1864.  It is # 33546.  There is a picture of Jackson on the right and "Deo Vindice" with a horse and rider on the left.  Any value?

All Dated Feb. 17th 1864.
$1  serial # 82129
$5 serial # 18262
$10 serial # 40679
$20  serial # 46410
$50 serial # 72104
$100 serial # 65798

Can you please let me know if these are replicas? If no,  what they are worth?

i have a friend who has 4 1000 dollar confederate bills, 1 50 and 1 10.  they are dated may 29, 1861 and have the word Montgomery on them? can anyone tell me anything about them? where would i need to go to get a better idea of their worth?

$5 treasury warrant of the state of Texas,for military service dated October of 1862.No.112586

$2 Bank of Chattanooga dated January 4, 1863

i have a 100.oo dollar bill number 31698,a 10,000 bill. it has st. louis,mo on the front and a map on the back. it also says st. louis mutal life insurance company on the front. i have a 25 cent bill a ten cent bill. are they worth anything?

I found $1.oo (girl in left bottom, state florida) serial number 2396 , $500.00 (preident on the bottom right)serial number eb 17, 1864 , and $100.00 state of la serial 2650 march 10, 1863, and $100.00 state of alambama serial number 634

I have a confederate $100 bill..condition is fairly good...I suspect it to be a replica, except that there are two (2) very real looking "interest paid" stamps at Richmond in green ink on the back, one 1863...and 1864..I cannot make out the serial number but looks to start with 108....any comments on this would be appreciated.

Question... I found some Confederate Bills in my parents estate.  I was wondering if anyone could tell me about them.  The first one is from the State of Georgia, the Bank of Commerce, $10 No. 1417 Dated Dec. 1856 (I think) ... The other one is $20 from South Carolina from the Farmers Exchange Bank, The writing is very faint.  I think the No. is 8521 and the date is possibly 1836.  It also has a stamp from "GEO. W. Ross, Athens, Tennesse, Collection & Exchange Office.

I have a confederate $500 with 16760 stamped on both sides  where it saysAmerica on the front Feb. 17th 1864 Richmond.  I am seeing conflicting information regarding this money on-line so if anyone can give me any information on the value it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Confederate Bill of $20, with a written serial number 46410 dated Feb. 17th of 1864, what is it worth? I also have a Ohio Rail Road Bill of $2 dated 1842, and Military payment certificates series 611 can you tell me about these as well.
