Why don't the Marvel people use Wolverine's healing capabilities to cure cancer and AIDS?

Well, I don't know about AIDS but they applied Wolverine's healing factor to a mercenary called Deadpool (marvel'smighty merc with a mouth) and it healed his cancer but scarred him horribly. As I understand it, cancer is the overgrowth of cells in a tissue or area. Since the healing factor essentially regrows cells, it could be considered cancer that is kept in check within Wolverine's body.

I am just guessing, but since AIDS is a retrovirus it may be too complicated to get an actual cure from Logan or the healing element might be time sensitive since his body would kick off the introduction of a virus.

Because as shown in the Omega Red storyline, Wolverine's healing factor cannot be massed produced or duplicated.

I beleive it could cure AIDS because if his cell restructures or regrow then they could regrow the killer cells to overcome the virus or the cells neede in the imune system to fight off the disease.
