I know my own children each showed signs of being picky about eating at about 1 year. What I did was to just keep trying different foods. Make sure you don't just give in by allowing junk foods. Make several different items and allow baby to choose from different foods on plate. I noticed that when given the opportunity to choose each of my children ate good and it was a win win for me and them. Good luck.

I've eaten some pretty strange stuff once I was hungry enough. You'd be surprised what a kid will pack in their mouth when they're hungry. Maybe go with longer periods between feeding times. More exercise and fresh air can help too as well as make them sleep better at night.

Everyone needs substanance to get through the day. If your child won't eat, be sure to have something with nutrients in it for the child to drink. Gatorade and Pedialyte are good for dehydration. Other drinks, such as Ensure or even Slimfast, are made specifically for someone who cannot eat solid type food, for whatever reason.
