You have to get a controller for it to push the button to continue with the boot up sequence.  The CD32 is a Amiga 1200 computer in console form.  You may see the CD32 logo when it comes on and see a silver disk on the screen also and hear a theme song without a game controller.  It can also take a mouse, keyboard, floppy and h hard drive with a add on module along with a FMV (full motion video) cartrige that plays movies.
