Hep Hep Pick it up, dear freinds of ska! I'm the drummer from the danish ska band called "The Skandals"!. Were not only wearing suits because we are the middle class, also because rudegirls like it! Haha... Arh.. no.. But its right that we dance the "Pogo".. That is called "skanking".. A rudeboy is also called a "skanker"... How shall the sublime suit be? There is no "sublime" suit that is better to skank in, but if you are starting wanna be a Rudeboy/Skanker then you can always start up with the black/white one.. It breaks hearts... well i would like to know if any of you know why rudeboy wear smart clothes? what makes up ska? is it true that rudies cannot mosh? rudies wear X or Y braces? why Rudeboy pants must be short.. i know it was a rudeboy fashion but there must be a reason for that. thanks...

what type of skirt do skingal wear? what is mods? why rudies hate skinhead? why rudies skank their leg must be 90 degree? why do skinhead hate nazi? why must skingal must have short hair? If the person is skinhead dunno how to ans the question from the OT, must they be beaten up?

Rudeboy 4 life! We are low class bastard! We provoke, insult and make fun of the rich! yeah.. that is correct! We are not the working class! Y rudie pant must be abit short? to make us look abit poor! To tell... that we can't afford enogh cloth for it. remeber.. rudie are mostly poor people... they are mostly the youth, victim of the unemployee! Y pork pie hat? to promote ska! Rudie don't mosh! We skank... n the leg don't need to be 90 deg.. how do they afford the coat... the steal it at the laundry from the rich people... n all rudie wear thin tie!

rudies dont hate skins. thats all i hang out with is skins. im the only rudeboy for miles and miles. the trad skins and rudeboys share identical views. without rudeboys, there would be no skinheads.

Rudies, wear this fasion to (as someone has already said) provoke the rich, to poke fun of them, basically saying "Hey, we can wear what you wear and still have fun it in." They skank because it's fun! Moshing is not necessarily for punks, they skank too, just a bit harder, moshing is for metal. I don't much enjoy that as much as skanking b/c there's more unity in skanking. neway The braces are either to also provoke the rich or to keep up their pants...':/

Rudeboys where short pants because that's how the rudeboy history started back in Jamaica in the 1960's. In the 1960's the younger generation had no jobs and no money, so they couldn't afford decent clothing. On top of that, knickerbockers were also in style, so it's a combination of the two. The style of the rudeboy just never changed from the 1960's, so now its a staple mark in ska and the rudeboy.

I am a true rudeboy and i can say that we wear x braces and love to skank. Skanking, however, is not about perfection. We skank because it's fun. Rudys DON'T HATE SKINHEADS!! We freaking love eachother. We don't mosh because we aren't interested in violence. Rudys often like punk music such as the clash also, but it isn't unusual for rudys to listen to newer punk bands such as rancid and nofx. "smart cloths" are worn for the same reason that skinheads wear then, to show that we aren't interested in expensive clothes.
