Due to the age of your pet, it is slightly common for some aging pets to leak urine when they sleep or get relaxed.  There are some solutions to try but they don't always work.  You can ask your vet, but there is a medication that helps with incontinence, even though it may not be a full urination, but it is like a stage of incontinence.  Our pets age much like us, but just much faster.  I hope this helps you.

Please have your dog checked for kidney problems.  Because of her age and the problem, this could be the reason.  My dog, Rusty, was 14 years old and started being damp under his body (all his fur) every day when it had not happened to him before.  We took him to the vet and found that a kidney problem was causing this.  We changed his diet to have less protein and some medication, and it did help.

She may have a bladder infection. Regardless of what is causing it, your veterinarian can prescribe a medication to make it stop.

if your dog is leaking urine the best thing to do is to get a black bag and some bricks and take to dog for a walk down to the local canal and drown the stupid soppy old thing
