I just changed my brake pads, is it necessary to bleed the brakes to get better braking ability.

you shouldn't have to bleed your brakes after replacing pads but if any of your brake lines have been disconnected at anytime then you should bleed that line or to be safe bleed all wheels.

you dont have to bleed your brakes as long as you didnt take the lines off but when you are finished, you have to pump your brakes a couple times to get your brake pedal back.

Always bleed lines after pad replacment most cars if pads are worn its impossible to get new ones on without using a seaclamp or the like to open calipers enough to fit new pads in when you do this air is forced back into lines.so if you dont want spongy brakes bleeding it is necessary.......
