You really should wait until they are 12 weeks of age before you take them from their parents.

Never purchase any small breed puppy under 12 weeks of age.  Older is better if particularly small.  Most yorkie pups don't wean completely until 7 or 8 weeks unless they are forcably removed from the mom.
No where in the breed standard for the Yorkshire Terrier is there ever a reference of 'teacup' etc.  The Yorkie is classed in the Toy group by the AKC and Canadian Kennel Club.  'Teacup' is a clever marketing ploy devised by people who don't know the breed or the breed standard.  A teacup is for drinking tea out of.  A Yorkshire Terrier is not for drinking tea out of.

do any of you know anything it is best to get a puppy to its new home as soon as possible to let it get used to your way of doing things the earliest a pup should be homed is 8 weeks and preferably before 12 weeks as they are then getting used to the other person and can be slightly harder to retrain to your way. Also there is such thing as a 'teacup' yorkie they are bred to be small but this sometimes causes defects in the pup and personally wouldn't recommend it. (not to say all are defected or that they don't make great pets). whither the actual name teacup is correct or not I'm not sure but the idea is that you can fit them into teacups as they are so small.

ok..umm...
there is such a thing as a teacup yorkie..
it's just that its like a 1 of a million chance of getting one...
so you won't be able to see it...and it dies very quickly....
so....umm....7 weeks is too young...
it should at least be 10 weeks.
