   Hello! My very good friend is in trouble. She had J-1 visa, which expired last september.Five month later she got married to an american citizen. Can she apply for green card?

Yes your friend will get a green card.But you will have to pay for the time you stayed here illegal.It is something like $1000 for a every six months period you have stayed as an illegal person.

Is she on a foreign resident requirement? If she is, she cant get a green card. Its clearly stated on the form I-AP66 that marriage to US citizen does not invalid the residency rule .

I'm an Aupair and now I got marry with US citizen, he's US military. He'll station in Germany soon about 3 yrs. And I'm also on a foreign resident requirement, can I apply for a green card or a waiver? i know some cases they can apply for a waiver for an exceptional hardship to their spouse. I don't know if i can do that or not. Please help me!!
