what are the disadvantages of not doing a back ground check on an artist for a tattoo party?

THATS JUST STUPID, IS HIS OR HER ART GOOD? THEN GET THE TATT, IT'S NOT LIKE THEY ARE GONNA EAT YOU HEART, UNLESS OF COURSE YOU GIVE EM A REASON!

well for one they can an unsanitary place which means they don't use disposable needles or sanitize their needles which can cause a whole lot of diseases and infections. They can also do a lousy job so its good to always ask for a portfolio and check to make sure they use clean products. SO ALWAYS CHECK BEFORE YOU GET TATTOOED

Dont do tattoo parties. The tattooers that do them cannot get a job in a sterile shop, therefore they suck. Good tattooers dont work at a kitchen table, they respect the art and the trade. SCRATCHERS tattoo at parties with unsterile equipment. Would you like to have a doctor come into your home and do surgery on a kitchen countertop?....Hell NO!
