I don't know about the blower motor but I also own a "96 Plymouth Neon and the oil leaks (a lot). I heard that the gasket was bad/recalled possibly years ago. Anyone else w/oil leaking problems. It costs $500 to replace oil mechanism, ouch. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a '95 neon with the same oil leaking problem. The mechanic said that the problem was the valve cover was warped and he replaced the head gasket. But on cold days I can actually see the oil coming out of the engine when the gas is on. As far as fixing it, the only thing beyond replacing the gasket would be shaving the valve cover, but that gets real expensive and screws with the internal measurements.
