i recently went to my doctor (gyn) because i thought i had a infection. she took a culture and told me i had group b strep. but I'm not pregnant and my daughter is 14 months old. i was told when i was pregnant that i had it and i was given medicine when delivering and everything was fine. but now over a year later it showed up again with my culture. my question is why? and does that usually happen that its comes back or is it possible i never got rid of it?
thanks
