Causes for World War II were vast and critical. To be general, the following were responsible for World War II:

1. Humiliation and economic draught inflicted upon Germany by the Treaty of Versailles

2. Appeasement from democratic powers in response to Adolf Hitler's desire for territories that once belonged to Germany

3. Lack of enforcement by the international community for the Treaty's demands, most noteworthy being the open showing of military build up in Germany

4. Failure of the League of Nations to determine conflicts in reference to Japan, Italy, Egypt and new Stalinist Russia

5. Nationalistic emotions erupting throughout the world

6. Economic disaster of the Great Depression, and the United States' high tariffs.

7. United States' desire to remain isolationist

8. World War I resentment and thirst for revenge

The Second World War was caused by Fascist aggression and the failure of democratic powers to stop this aggression.

The rearmament of Germany was a cause for war because it broke the Treaty of Versailles (28th June, 1919)
The remilitarization of the Rhineland (7th march, 1936) was a cause of war because it broke the Treaty of Versailles and the Locarno Pacts (1925)
The Rome-Berlin Axis (October 1936) was a cause of war because it united the aggressive fascist powers and divided Europe into hostile camps.
Chamberlain’s appeasement policy (after may 1937 – March 1939) was a cause of war because it broke the Treaty of Versailles and Treaty of St. Germain (10th September, 1919)
The Anschluss of Germany with Austria (13th march, 1938) was a cause of war because it broke the Treaty of Versailles and Treaty of St. Germain (10th September, 1919)
The Nazi annexation of the Sudetenland after the Munich conference (29th September 1938) was a cause of war, because it broke the Treaty of St. Germain.
The Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia in March 1939, cause war because it defied the Munich agreement and ended Britain’s appeasement policy.
The Nazi-Soviet Pact (29th August 1939) caused war because it sealed Poland’s downfall.
The Nazi invasion of Poland (1st September 1939) caused war because Britain had guaranteed Poland’s bord

There are many things that caused World War II, however I think that the main one was simply the  brillance of the dictators of Germany, Italy, and Japan and the reluctance of people to speak out when they relized that something was wrong.

Basically Revenge & Oppresion.  Aas we all know a hungry man is an angry man.  After WW1.

1. The Treaty of Versailles was written to exert revenge and cripple Germany.  It included:-
- Germany was not allowed to have a military.
- Germany was forced to give up it's territories in Africa, the Pacific & Europe.
- Many German trade ships were confiscated or simply taken by the Allies.
- Germany was ordered to pay more that $32 Billion in war damages.

So not only was the country still recovering from the damange of WW1 but whatever it was left with was being taken away.

2. Nationalism
- The simple belief that a country's interests and security are far more important that those of other nations.  This led to alot of separation along religious lines, political ideology and Racism.

3. As the rest of the world was suffering from an Economic Depression, Europe especially Germany felt it all the more and resentment quickly festered.  Leaving the arena open for ruthless dictators like Hitler & Mussolini, because they fostered hope in their people.

4.) The failure of the League of Nations and the United States failure to join the League.

The causes of world war two are as follows:
1. The tensions between the communists of Germany and the Nazi's.
2. The Jews are apparently responsible for Germany's frailty and deterioration
3. The attempt of preserving the Aryan race and obliterating the minority in an inhumane manner
4. Germany's encounters regarding the decline of the country as a result of the Treaty of Versailles that served as a precursor to the Great Depression
5. Chauvinism and Nationalism. The countries of Europe and Russia strenuously strive to maintain their power.
6. The use of propagands as utilized by the Nazi party
7. Unresolved conflicts of world war one, such as expansion of the militaries, and colonialism/expansionism

The reason was because at the time wookies were threatening the lives of americans and were wreaking havok. The United States waged war to regain superpower and annihilate the Wookie forces. The wookies also took white males as sex slaves and humans were disrespected and had to drink at different water fountains than the wookies and eat at different restaraunts. Wookies eventually destroyed earth using the massive space ship "The Near Death Star." 200 million years later a young alien child was making a planet for his science class and reconstructed earth using ancient history books. The story has been hidden until this day, when a bored 16 year old goes searching on google to look for answers on his history homework and stumbles on a pathetic FAQ site, so he decides to annoy the viewers by writing a ridiculous story to anger them. They are thinking how immature this boy must be but they too are immature for reading past the first sentence. For even more hidden stories of the past contact me at: flying_italian@hotmail.com

there are MANY!!!

·   The Axis Powers wanted land and power;

·   Japan’s xenophobic nationalism with dreams of empire and deep bitterness at the dominance of much of Asia by the Western Colonial powers led to vast atrocities. Japan wanted to be masters of Asia and the pacific just like the British;

·   The Great Depression that hit Japan and other countries;

·   Pressure from the Japanese army and the patriotic societies on Japan’s government to adopt an aggressive policy towards other countries as a first step to gaining new lands. They were also keen to preserve the traditional Japanese way of life at home;

·   Japan wanted to control the rich resources in South East Asia;

·   Americans, British and the Dutch had refused to sell oil, rubber, tin and other war materials to Japan because Japan did not want to stop the war in China and to remove its armies from Indo-China. Japan found that war was the only way out;

·   The Colonial Powers were recuperating in their own country because of World War One and were not ready for war. Japan found that it was a good chance to declare war; and

·   Being under Emperor Hirohito, the army, navy, and air force became more powerful. He gave confidence to Japan.

·   The Treaty of Versailles did not solve anything

·   Appeasement

Ha ha!!! That is my research! Just sharing it with you
