Why we start drawing immage from top letf instead of bottom...

Why we start drawing immage from top letf instead of bottom left on computer screen ?

This is likely related to the fact that the scanning electron beam gun on a television starts scanning from the top left corner. In the bad old days, we always coded games to draw at the top left first because we were trying to draw "ahead" (or behind, depending upon how you think of it) of the electron gun. The idea was to draw your pixels for the current frame just before before the gun tried to draw THOSE pixels; we didn't draw the whole frame and then flip, this was single-buffered stuff.
