I am looking at two female shih tzus.  Mom and dad are both 9 lbs.  One of the puppies is 1.9 Lb and the other is 2.6 Lbs.  Both are 8 weeks old.  I am better to get the runt or the larger one?

You should really go for the larger one because sometimes the runt can have health problems depending on it's size. Hope I helped!

Shih-tzus shouldn't be breed until they are at least 18 months old, that way they have are fully mature

I have a shih-tzu and her name is Coco. She is cuddly and terrific!!!!!!!!! I think you are better off with the runt because it will be more playful ( or lazier. )
