I'd like to wire a 30 and 50 amp service plug for my Recreational Vehicle at my home.  Is there anything special I need to do?  I presume it is 110 service and not 220.

I am assuming you're just looking to plug into a regular house outlet?  If so, most RV's with a 50A plug have two separate 110V circuits, one usually for the extra air conditioner.  I wired mine successfully by shunting the two 50 A "hot" lines together in a 50A female receptacle through to a 20 A male plug.  (Some units might have neutral and ground together; if so, you might trip a GFI breaker.)  In any case, don't run more than one high-amperage accessory (A/C, microwave, water heater, toaster, hair dryer) at a time when using regular 15 or 20 amp house circuit.
