Chihuahuas are originally from Mexico, so as a breed they tend to prefer spicier foods.  Also, there is a special kind of field mouse native to northern Mexico called, in English, "beast of the plains" that they prefer.

I'm not sure what you mean by "what does chihuahua eat."  Chihuahua is a kind of cheese.  I am assuming you mean "who eats chihuahua cheese?"  I would say that anyone who goes to a good Mexican restaurant has had chihuahua cheese.

SOME PPL DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT DOGS OR ANIMALS! CHIHUAHUAS EAT THERE DOG FOOD. THEY USUALLY EAT SMALL PORTIONS AT A TIME. AND IF YOUR CHIHUAHUA IS AN OLDER DOG YOU WOULD HAVE TO BREAK UP SMALLER  PIECES FOR THEM

WHEN I HAD MY CHIHUAHUA IT AT SOME HOUSE FOOD LIKE SOFT MEAT AND TORTIAS BUT MOST OF THE TIME HE PREFERRED TO EAT HIS SOFT MOIST DOG FOOD THAT CAME IN BEEF AND CHEESE FLAVOR.

Well, obviously it's a dog. So, it would eat dog food.
Yesterday my boyfriend and I found a chihuahua, we felt sorry for it so we took it home. He is soooo cute, I fell in love with him at first sight.

Chihuahuas and most others dogs will tend to eat anything ie. table food, dog food. In most cases feeding table food can be unhealthy for your pet. There are some exceptions like Chopped up hardboiled eggs, broiled hamburger meat, broiled rice. Just stick to feeding with your regular dog food... small bites and portions.

I think chihuahuas eat little soft pieces of food because their teeth are to small and won't be able to eat hard food. Don't EVER give chocolate to any kind of dog especially a chihuahua.It could die.My chihuahua eats a lot of different foods but I don't give her anything that will hurt her. Be easy and careful with this or any kind of dog.

Chihuahuas eat dog food and some house food if you offer it to them. They can eat spicy food too...They originated from Mexico, you know. I'm not assuming this i know because I have lived with chihuahuas. "listentothebambo" : a chihuahua is a dog. The user was asking what kind of food that dog eats. Enjoy your chihuahua cheese :).

I think that Chi-whatchamicallits eat babies... dead babies, they like it when the babies have been ground up into a fine powder by putting them into a food dehydrator and then a blender... they also like it when you feed them small children's faces, 4-5 year old is best but anywhere from 3-12 would do... oh... and if you feed them anything but babies or childrens faces, I'll find you.


Or maybe I'm just full of it.

well i am 56 years old and i have have nine chihuahua! Most of them i have eaten for brekkie but if u want to get them nice and juicy hear is wat i have to do! alchol and lots is a great way to fatten the dog! it also like cocaion but not much as it will die straight away! thank 4 this great site plzz say it was good!!! Chihuahua's eat dry food, as it is better f or them, like Royal Canin, but wet food is ok once in a while, they like a little bit o f cheese only as a treat - and also it is good if there is a balance of veg and fruit. Dont give your chihuahua spicy food!

i have a chihuahua. so therefore i can tell u that chihuahuas eat regular dog food, but often they would rather eat bits if meat or chicken.

Chihuahua's are the smallest breed of dog; therefore they must be fed the same diet as other species within their size ratio. Bird food, hamster food, or lizard food would keep them very healthy for a long life. If you plan to feed it chocolate, be sure to only give "Oh Hungry" as anything else would be uncivilized. I also treat my four Chihuahuas with a healthy portion of pig fat once a day, the reason being that this keeps them at a healthy weight of 10 lbs.

Umm... Yeah most of you people are just plain out retarted.. The question was "What do chihuahua'seat.. So the response should have been. They eat dog food, with specific brand names. And listing other things they can eat. Jeez.

my chi likes to eat wet dog food because its easier to eat she NEVER eats the dry food they like softer food and when my chi does eat she might only eat 5 or 6 pieces.Try AlPO wet dog food with gravy.

chihuahua's eat sometimes dog food and other time they eat house food such as cheese and meat that is soft cause u dont want them to choke so little pieces when i had my dog bambi he ate his dog food partly of it and he also loved chicken that my mother made he loved ham and cheese oh yea he luved brocolli and letcue and some certain of spicy foods

I have a chihuahua and it eats meat and dog food, no veggies or fruits. They don't eat it because in the dog food, they added the vitamins and stuff. I usually give my dog, dog food or tender meat because they have poor teeth.

Chihuahuas are dogs, so basically....they eat dog food.Most people prefer to feed their dog dry dog food daily and maybe moist-canned dog food once in a while because like other dogs, chihuahuas tend to release watery,slimy waste after eating moist food.So...my suggestion is to keep your dog on a healthy diet including veggies,fresh-moist meat, grain, and plenty of cold water.

I think that they eat chihuahua food like The Royal Canin Mini Chihuahua 28 or they might like little pieces if regular dog food for small dogs that have little juice in them.

I don't eat dog meat...I am a dog.  I eat dog food consisting of meat.  I love Pollo Loco personally, but I eat my Beneful dry food every single day and then as snacks I love to eat cheese, baby carrots, popsicles,and pasta sauce mixed with my food.

Chihuahuas eat small portions of food. they cannot eat chocolate or anything dairy or pork (it'll make them lose their hair). I'm sure they eat meat-like chicken.

Well, I have a 5 year old chihuahua and she is very very picky, she will not eat canned dog food all of the time but she does tend to like table food. She likes whatever I eat. Chihuahuas are very picky eaters so sometimes you have to switch their food from dog food to table food. (Trust me I know this!)

My chihuahua wont eat any dog food. It only eats 2 hotdogs in the morning and 2 for dinner it doesn't really like hamburgers so we just feed it the 4 hotdogs a day.
