People look until they have exhausted all the means within their grasp . . .whether it be merely a suggestive thought, their own intellectual power, an imaginative twist or conception*, or just what do all those dumb numbers mean?  I suppose anyone asking that question would be assuming that they have personally read all there is to read . .that they have explored all that there is to explore . . .and that everyone else has done the same.  In effect . .there is nothing left to do . . .it has all been done . . .and I can't think of anything else!!!!!  You (anyone, someone, everybody, anybody, the world?) won't see me smile as I make the next statement.  It's all in how you look at it . . . .never believe what you read . . .never believe what the person hiding the treasure said.  If I were Beale I would have lied the same . . . as I wouldn't want anyone having my treasure either.  But the truth IS told. AND it was spoken by Beale himself.  Is there a treasure?  There's no doubt in my mind.  Those who come up with cauldrons of other excuses . .from Poe to Ward's hoax are only admitting defeat . .that they have run out of ideas. Thankfully, I have one left . . .the only one idea I ever had.  Sorry I can't elaborate at this time . . .maybe soon.  Much work has to be completed and refined.           *Or Perception.  Just a footnote . . one other reason does exist . .that they believe they have discovered the truth.  This is acceptable, though to date I have not seen anything beyond a "publicity" stunt, though a lot of good research has admittedly been accomplished.  ANYONE WITH ANY SMALL AMOUNT OF INFO ON THE BEALE CIPHER COULD COME UP WITH A 'SOLUTION' AND FIND A HOLE N THE GROUND OR VAULT AND THEN SAY . ."WE KNOW WE DID IT . . .TOO BAD IT'S EMPTY."  If their story, their logic, their cleverness, etc., etc.. meets all demands, then they ARE the solvers . . the almighty solvers!!!That, in itself, is a claim to fame.  They can have it as I load up the gold and the jewels . . . . . .my email treasure2@charter.net
