Ok, I am 13 years old and I am considering getting my belly button done. I have a few questions though for someone who has got it done or someone who knows a lot about it... 1. Should I wait to get it done? (I heard that if you get it done while your still growing it will rip and you will have a scar..is that true?) 2. Does it hurt? 3. Is it hard to clean? 4. About a year after you got it done, do you still have to clean it as much as you did as you first got it done? 5. I noticed that you cannot go swimming after you get it done for a while. Can you go swimming in salt water? 6. Is it ok to take a bath in the time where you can't go swimming? Hey, My name is Kayla and im 14 my mom says i can get my belly button pierced! so me and frinds are gunna go get it done over the summer i kno its a lonf time away but that when they can get theirs done! Anyway Were should i gert it fone at? I live in Vandalia Il! and i dont trust anybody in Vandaila to do it for me! So Were in the heck shouls i go to get it don! by the way i asked some one who pierces belly buttons and she said if youve had ur cartilage pierced it doesnt even hurt that as bad as getting ur cartilage done! So i should be in no pain whatso ever cuz i didnt feel a thing when i got my ears pierced! plus three years ago i pierced my belly button by myself but it got infected!

You can go to the Skin Gallery in Downers Grove. It's also a tatooe shop, but its clean, and the people are really nice. If you're not 18 yet, you can still get it done if you have your parent or guardian with you. Dont forget to bring your birth certificate, some id (a school id will work), and make sure your parent has their liscense or other id on them too. It's $40 if you want a ring, and it's $55 if you want a double-jewled barbell. I personally think the barbells are alot cuter. I'm gettin mine done on Saturday. That's what I'm gettin!

at the skin gallery, do you actually have to prove that this person is you legal guardian? i guess what I'm really asking is- Is there a way i can get my older brother or a friend over 18 to sign as a guardian? I'm 17 now but i really don't feel like waiting another year

the guys there are really cool, especially chris (he's also hot by the way!), if you go from like thursday thru sunday i think he'll be there. i'vegone there for a few piercings and i'venever had a problem. i think you might have a chance of him letting the age thing slide or a non-parent/guardian getting you in. good luck!

ok i just called skin gallery in downers grove and they said u have to be 18 w/out a parent. ok i definitley need a place that will let girls that r like 15 !!! SOME ONE HELP ME !!!!! cause seriously im 15 and i was ganna go w/ my friend n her mom and she said shed sign as me but i dono if it would work or i was ganna have my sister take me... do u think it would work if like my sister took me w/ her id shes 21 and then i had my id or w/e n birth cert.!! HELP !

I went to Skin Gallery, and that place is great! I got my belly button pierced there. The guy that pierced me was really nice, answered all my questions, and told me all I needed to know about what I should do and what I shouldn't do. They do have an autoclave there too. So I knew it was safe, and he opened the piercing equipment in front of me, and threw it out too. So go there! It's a great place. The full name is Skin Gallery Tattoo and Body Piercing. 1402 Ogden in Downers Grove.

i dont have an answer 4 ne of u, but i have a few questions. ma mom said i could get am belly button done...its may 9th, and ma bday is on may 15, so ill b 13...ma friend from gymnastics went to this place called Blue Magic in Crystal Lake, and she got it done when she was 12. But now shes 14. She said it didnt hurt, but im still wonderin. but she got it done 2 years ago, but isnt the Illinois state law that u have 2 b 16? i use a fake ring now...and it looks real! but i REALLY want a real one...PLEASE HELP ME!!! i live in palm bay Fl and im dying to get my belly button pierced i already did my nose by myself but my mom wont let me get my belly done! so i was just thinking i could get my aunt 2 take me ! so from someone that has gotten their belly already done what proof do you need and on a scale of 1 to 10 how bad does it hurt???? please let me know

im only 12 and i got my belly button pierced like 3-4 weeks ago but i live in the UK and Perfectbrunet424 it doesnt matter if ure skinny or watever the lady that pierced me sed that its easier if ure not well fat hehe

about a month ago i went and got my belly pierced, well tried 2, but my belli was 2 firm so they sed, n if they pierced it it wld grow out within a few months, so i've bin eatin loads, n nxt week i'm going agn wiv a frend, will i b able 2 get it peirced this tym?? n alo does it hurt???? pls b truthful! thnx!

You know I have went to Skin Gallery in Downers Grove and they are the best! I will never go anywhere else to get a piercing or tattoo done again. They give really good deals, I got 2 belly button rings for only 15 bucks and they were the stainless steal ones too! The owner is a sweetheart and he will hook ya up. Have Fun!!!!!!!!

Skin Gallery @ 1402 Ogden Ave in Downers Grove 630.493.1199 is so awesome and highly recommended. "Pervert" is a very informative employee. I got my belly button done when i was 15 with a parents signature about 8 years ago. They have been around for a while because they are good!! I just got my nose done this past weekend and still the same results....great information and customer service! Check them out and go in and see "Pervert"! (He goes by that name)

I'm 13 and i think I'm getting my belly button pierced in march with my bests friends I'm a cheerleader and junk can i work out and swim and people I'm not to young i can spell pierced and needle whoever cant spell those must be queer well my last question is does any 1 know were a clean spot to get it done in M.A. Thanks lilcheertiger

I donno what to say to all ya'll...I am 17 and looking around myself to get my tongue pierced.....haven't had any luck though...my best friend was going to take me to get it done, but i think you need some sort of parent form there with you....if they don't they can get charged with a class c midemeanor....that is a heafty fine for the artist, and they could even end up never tattooing or piercing again!! hey out there, i just had my 3rd baby and have been working really hard to lose the baby fat, i can now fit back into my "before-baby" jeans, when i sit down my tummy goes over a little bit. i feel really bad about myself, here's my ?--if i were to get my belly pierced now will the shape of the hole change if i lose more wieght? i would like to hear from someone on the curvy side please!

i got my belly periced today there the guy who periced e was very professinal(and HOT ) new tools all that jazz told me how to clean it im only 14 i went in w/ my dad i dint need id or ne thing my cuz got her tattoo there they didnt even card her but she looks bout 18

we got our belly buttons pierced at smoky hollow in lasalle and she pierced us with a ear piercing gun. is that against the law? kt's15 and am's24. we're not really related. we're almost sister-in-laws. kt'smom went with us. they didnt ask for identification. we didnt sign any paperwork. we dont know what to do about it..she ripped us off 50$. kt'scame out 3 hours after it was put in..am took hers out cause she showed it to a guy at a piercing/tattoo parlor and he about jumped outta his skin cause she pierced us with earrings but told us it was a stud. what should we do?

i was 14 when i got my belly button pierced and i got it done at blue magic tattoo and body piercing in crystal lake, il. you needed to be 18 or w/ a legal gaurdian (my mom came). and as far as the pain, it really didnt hurt me at all...my cartiledge piercing hurt more than my belly button. it bleeds pretty bad for like 15 min and your not supposed to get it wet for like a day. ive never had any problems w/ it.
